A wild modern comedy about four “badass” women who try and save the world, and their own heads, during the French Revolution. Tipping Point Theatre presents “The Revolutionists” by Lauren Gunderson.
It’s 1793 during France’s Reign of Terror. Four badass women from history (a playwright, an assassin, a former Queen, and a Caribbean spy) walk into a room and attempt to save the soul of France (not to mention their own heads) as they fight for equality in the midst of extremist insanity. We celebrate a unique theatrical adventure—by turns both funny, inventive, invigorating, satirical, poignant and enlightened.
