City of Northville Lifts Boil Water Advisory

The City of Northville, in consultation with the Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) and Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) has lifted the boil water advisory, effective 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22.

Because the City’s water is supplied by two different GLWA supply lines, the water pressure on the City’s system was able to be maintained. The GLWA supply line being repaired was able to be isolated from the City’s water system, and there was no risk to the City’s water system.

Repairs are ongoing but should not impact the water supply system. However, until GLWA completes repairs, there is a possibility of interruption to the water supply.

Updates regarding this event will be posted on the City’s website and social media channels until repairs have been completed. Please share this information with all the people who drink this water, especially those who may not have access to the media or the internet.

Northville Township residents and businesses were not affected.

If City of Northville residents or business owners have questions, please contact City of Northville at 248-349-1300 during office hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. After hours, there will be a special recorded line at that same number with any updates.

Downtown Northville

Downtown Northville - Timeless...with a Twist
Imagine the timeless things you would have encountered as you strolled Downtown in 1950, like the smell of freshly baked bread wafting out the bakery on Main Street, bicycles with baskets on the handlebars, the mayor walking down the front steps of City Hall, kids on the sidewalks laughing with ice cream cones in hand, and your neighbors waving to you from Town Square on Friday evening as music fills the night air.

Take all of this tradition and hometown feel and add a little twist of…sophisticated art galleries, wine shops, the latest fashions, and the culinary delights you have come to expect as a discerning Downtown patron.

The best of all worlds, this is Downtown Northville.
