Jeff Sirabian wants to put high school athletes as well as
weekend warriors back in the game, so to speak. The physical
therapist, who owns Plymouth Physical Therapy Specialists opened his
seventh office in downtown Northville in December 2006. Jeff has
lived in Northville since the early 1990s so, when he decided to
open yet another office, Northville was a natural choice.
Jeff knows first hand what it’s like to get hurt playing sports.
Involved in athletics while in high school, he sustained different
sports injuries that required therapy and became interested in the
field. Now his practice helps area high school athletes. Plymouth
Physical Therapy Specialists work with a lot of high school athletes
in the area and offer an outreach program providing trainers to
different area high schools. Trainers go to the schools and cover
games and practices focusing on injury prevention as well as the
prompt and proper care of injuries so young athletes don’t miss
practices, games or have their injuries turn into a chronic
condition. The new office is conveniently located for Northville
High School athletes who might need treatment.
Jennifer
Baumann, who used to practice at the University of Michigan Medical
Center in Ann Arbor joined the team practice last December in the
new Northville office.

. . . . . .
Jennifer has been a physical therapist for six years, a career
influenced by her participation in both high school and college
athletics. These sports experiences helped to draw her interest to
Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Jennifer attended Central Michigan University and received her
Bachelors in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training. She began her career
as an Athletic Trainer with Henry Ford Athletic Medicine performing
high school outreach. After four years as an ATC, Jennifer sought to
further her education and challenge herself. She enrolled at Wayne
State University in the Physical Therapy Program and went on to
graduate with a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy. She was then
employed with the University of Michigan gaining experience in all
areas of Physical Therapy. She has been treating primarily
Orthopedic and Sports Medicine injuries the last four years and
brings a wealth of experience and a personal touch to the residents
of the Northville.
