Once again the corner of West Main and Wing Streets will be bustling
with shoppers. Originally named Northville Square when the
building was constructed in 1973, throughout the years it has been
occupied by various merchants & offices under several different
names. Most recently the building housed the Michigan Gift
Mart.Longtime Northville residents Bob and Margene Buckhave
purchased the building and have taken it back to its roots as an
indoor mall under the original name of Northville Square. Bob and
Margene also developed Old Church Square at the corner of North
Center & Dunlap Streets, which is home to Margene’s Stampeddler Plus
Memories.
Northville Square is the new main attraction, right on Main
Street. Occupying half a city block, over 90,000 square feet
is being transformed into the hippest place to eat, shop, and work.
Every square inch will be filled with one-of-a-kind shops,
boutiques, restaurants, and cafes. After much anticipation,
the shops of Northville Square are beginning to open for business
with more set to open by the end of December or early 2007.
Don’t be left out in the cold. Enjoy the Square’s enclosed,
climate-controlled “street-scape” environment. Upon completion
the Square will offer a central water feature, customer concierge
service and outdoor dining areas. Enjoy on-street parking or free
all day parking in the lot behind the Square. Let the
holidays fill you with the joy of shopping at the Square!

The Pure Barre Technique (PBT) might just be the
magic potion you've been looking for. PBT fuses Lotte Berk
exercises, dance, and Pilates to create the most intense and
effective 55-minute workout there is. The class begins with a
warm-up and light weight work in the center of the floor. Then it
moves to the ballet barre to focus on the thighs and seat, and
finishes off with abdominal work - under the barre and in the center
of the room. Each strengthening section of the class is followed by
a stretching section in order to create strong, long, lean muscle
without the bulk, while increasing range of motion. The goal of PBT
is to quickly transform the body into one of equal balance, strength
and flexibility. Source: www.purebarre.com
