Sparr’s of Northville is a family-owned business opening in 1987 by Dennis Sparr. Under the apprenticeship of his father Jared Sparr learned the business and purchased Sparr’s of Northville in 1997. Jared is certified by the American Institute of Floral Designers and is a Michigan State Master Certified Florist and FTD Master Certified Florist. Jared has continued the tradition of supplying fresh flowers to Northville residents and neighboring communities as has been done for the past sixteen years.

Susan Schmoekel, an independent wedding consultant, has worked with Sparr’s for the past three years creating beautiful weddings and lasting memories for brides and grooms. Arranging about 75 weddings each year, Susan’s services include everything from assisting in the selection of the wedding invitations and flowers to creating a romantic air to the reception with beautiful centerpieces, fine linen selections, chair covers, ice sculptures, and balloon decorations. Dove and butterfly releases will make your reception stand out above the rest. Sparr’s of Northville is the preferred vendor for both Fox Hills Country Club and St. John’s Conference Center.

Fresh flowers are shipped in from the finest nurseries 5 times a day. Tulips are shipped in weekly from Amsterdam and are offered weekly at $7.95 a bunch, while supplies last. South America supplies beautiful roses in tight buds that will blossom into full bloom and are offered at $9.95 a dozen. Alstromeria from Canada, Iris from Amsterdam . . . think of the beautiful ways you can say I Love You! Roses will be plentiful for Valentine’s Day. Pre-arranged rose bouquets mixed with baby’s breath and self contained with a water pack will be available without special order. Custom orders made either by Jared or Jennifer, who is Senior Certified by FTD, are accepted up to and including Valentine’s Day and may be picked up until 7:00pm on Valentine’s Day. Valentine orders may be placed 24 hours a day by calling 248-347-0088. Delivery is available from Canton to Novi and South Lyon to Farmington.

Sparr’s also offers many of your favorite greenhouse selections and a variety of gifts including picture frames, stuffed animals, and Angel Blessings by Ganz, gift baskets and mylar balloons. They carry a nice assortment of silk plants and flowers in stems, pots, and topiaries.
